Here if you have recently purchased a hearing aid from Parker Hearing!
When
it comes to something as precious as your hearing,
only the best will do!
The most advanced hearing care, along with the best digital
hearing instruments available
anywhere. Because nothing less
than the best will do!
To help insure the optimum solution for your specific hearing
loss, Parker Hearing Institute offers select hearing aids
from these manufacturers: Oticon,
Widex, GN Resound, Sonic
Innovations, Phonak, Starkey, Unitron,
Micro-Tech, Rexton,Bernafon Maico,
Siemens, and Audio
'D'.
Additionally,
most hearing aids are available in these four basic styles:
Completely-In-The-Canal
(CIC): This is the smallest option. They
fit completely in the ear canal, making CICs practically invisible.
In-The-Canal
(ITC): This is the most popular option. Slightly
larger than a CIC. At about the size of a dime, these hearing
aids fit mostly in the ear canal so they are hardly noticeable.
In-The-Ear
(ITE): These hearing aids are about the size of
a quarter and fit in the outer portion of the ear and the
ear canal. Theyre easy to hold for people with arthritic
hands.
Behind-The-Ear
(BTE): A small, curved case fits around the back
of the ear and is connected to the ear canal by an ear mold.
Allows for more hearing power to be delivered to your ears
as your hearing becomes worse.
Which
style is right for you? That depends on your specific hearing
loss, and is something that should be discussed between you
and your audiologist.
